The 2025 Redox Chemistry/Biochemistry Graduate Summer Course will take place at the University of Debrecen, Hungary, from 10 to 14 June, 2025.
Project no. MEC_SZ 149205 has been implemented with the support provided by the Ministry of Culture and Innovation of Hungary from the National Research, Development and Innovation Fund, financed under the MEC_24 funding scheme.
This well-established event has been a prominent forum for presenting the latest scientific results in redox chemistry and biochemistry. The 2025 edition is particularly significant, as the University of Debrecen is joining the ranks of the organizers for the first time, alongside world-renowned institutions such as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (UNL), the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), and the Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm, Sweden.
The speaker line-up includes leading national and international experts in the field, and we are particularly pleased to announce that the planned open lecture will be delivered by Prof. Elias Arnér, PhD, MD, Head of the Selenoprotein Research Group at the National Institute of Oncology, Budapest, Hungary and the Karolinska Institutet Cancer Network.
The participants will be some of the most renowned representatives of the redox biology field, and the most outstanding PhD students from these universities.
We hope this event will foster scientific collaborations, facilitate networking, and strengthen ties between the researchers. To promote a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere, we also plan to include leisure activities in the program.
